What happens after you order

  1. 01

    Order and upload your plans

    Tell us about the project: the site address, the council, the lot and DP, the zoning and a short description of the development. Upload the plan set and pay by card.

  2. 02

    We measure and price to published rates

    We measure the gross floor area from the dimensioned plans to the AIQS method. We elect the building class and quality from the drawings and schedules, then price each element from published construction cost rates with the location index applied.

  3. 03

    Receive your QS-signed report

    Upload your plans and receive your QS-signed council cost report within 24 hours of payment and a complete plan set, Monday to Friday. Orders received after 2 pm Friday are delivered by Monday.

  4. 04

    Download your report

    The signed PDF arrives by email within 24 hours, with a link to your order page. Lodge it with your development application.

Before you start

What to have ready

Documents to upload

  • The DA plan set: site plan, floor plans, elevations, sections and any demolition plan
  • The Statement of Environmental Effects
  • The BASIX certificate
  • Survey, engineering, stormwater and landscape plans, if you have them
  • Finishes and joinery schedules, if you have them

PDF, DWG, JPG, PNG, TIFF, Word, Excel and ZIP files are accepted. Put DXF files inside a ZIP. Up to 20 files, 300 MB each.

Details we ask for

  • The site address and the council
  • Lot and DP, and the zoning
  • The planning portal reference, if you have one
  • The applicant’s legal name, as it appears on the application
  • A short description of the development, and its type
  • When you expect building to start
  • Site works such as demolition, retaining walls, a pool or a basement
Timing

When your report arrives

Turnaround

Your signed report is delivered within 24 hours. The full terms: 24 hours from receipt of payment and a complete plan set, Monday to Friday. Orders received after 2 pm Friday are delivered by Monday.

Lodge within 30 days

The practice standard expects the report to be dated within 30 days of lodgement. If you will lodge later than that, the report needs a new date. Tell us before you lodge.

If the council asks

We supply the working. If the council names a specific item we missed, we reissue at the corrected quantity at no charge.
